F2 Recruitment is recruiting reliable Recycling Picking Line Operatives for an established waste recycling business in Pendlebury.

This is a hands-on role for someone comfortable with physical work in a busy recycling environment and looking for a long-term position.

Pay and benefits

• Monday–Friday: £13.45 per hour.
• Saturday: £19.05 per hour.
• Weekly pay through 100% PAYE — no umbrella companies.
• Holiday pay accrued separately.
• Opportunity to move into permanent employment after 12 weeks.
• Site induction provided.
• Gloves and a hard hat issued by the client.

The work

• Sorting and separating recyclable materials on a moving picking line.
• Removing unsuitable items and placing materials into the correct waste streams.
• Keeping your workstation clean and tidy.
• Following site safety procedures and working closely with the team.

This is physical, repetitive work involving standing for extended periods. You must be comfortable working in a waste recycling environment, which can be dirty and noisy.

Hours and availability

• Monday–Friday, with Saturday work when required.
• You must be available to work within the 06:00–18:00 operating window.
• The site will give you your following day’s start time each day.
• Finish times depend on workload, so you must be prepared to work until 18:00 when required.
• Your first day starts at 07:00 for induction, followed by work on the same day.

What you’ll need

• Excellent reliability, punctuality and attendance.
• Reliable transport to Pendlebury for early starts, or to live locally enough to reach the site.
• Comfort with physical work and the flexibility to meet the shift requirements.
• A positive attitude and willingness to follow instructions.
• Previous waste or recycling experience would be highly beneficial.
